Im after a profile to keep my screen on

New profile

Add - state - sensor - orientation /set

Be aware that there is also a setting in tasker prefs to adjust the level of the setting (example: face down might kick in at 30 degree angle on a low setting but not until 40 degrees on a medium setting.)

Load tasker
Tap options
Tap prefs
On UI tab untick the "beginner mode" option
On MONITOR tab scroll to very bottom for Orientation State Sensitivity

New task

Add - display - display timeout set sliders to max for always on.

display - display timeout set sliders to max for always on.
Seems like it should work.
But when I tried this exact thing recently, my phone immediately slowed and then died (rebooted itself).

Why? Beats me.
I do know that in the settings, the choices for timeout end at 10 minutes.
Maybe for some reason it's not equipped to handle setting to more than 10 minutes and there is no error checking when Tasker asks it to set timeout longer, resulting in cpu overwriting something important?
By the way I've got a rooted Samsung Infuse running Android 2.3.6

I hope OP gives this a try and feeds back the results.
I'd be interested to know if it's "just me".
