IMAP changing email address

Hi,

I've configured my phone to use IMAP so I can syc both my computer and phones email. When sending email from my phone the return email address has the .au left off the end.

My address is XXXXX.com.au and the .au is missing in the return email so when people reply to my email obviously it does not return to me. Has anyone had this issue or know how to resolve itor even where to start looking.
