I hate to barge into a forum as a newbie & ask for help but i am about at my wits end & would really appreciate any help at all.

I have a 6wk old Incredible S. Cant handle the data charges so am opting for wifi connect only.Phone will connect & find all open/ free networks. Will detect my neighbours wifi.....cannot find mine.I am using a Netgear DGNG3300v2 . My desktop, laptop, netbook, ipods, xbox, wii will all detect my SSID & allow me to connect. Phone will not detect my network & if manually typed in states "Remembered, not in range' despite being in the same room as router. It has never detected my network. I am/have been using WEP settings, but did switch between all security options to see if any would work, WPS connect failed also.

I have tried htc support, ISP support, Netgear support all have gotten stumped past basic start in safe mode checks and basic router settings. Tech support my $%#!

I have installed the sync driver and am able to establish the internet pass through connection, but that leaves me stuck at comp via usb cable for internet access, also files & photos arent accessible in pass through mode, must disconnected first.

What i am wondering is, if anyone is aware if there needs to be a setting or....something within my router settings to allow my phone to detect my network. Given the sync access & all other device access surely it has to be a router security setting thats blocking the detection?

I know there is a good chance this will have people stumped, i am convinced it's something absurdly simple right under my nose, but days of trawling through forum threads for anything remotely close to something that might work has yielded no results. I would be very greatfull for any ideas......anything at all.

....sorry for the novel, but i like to give as much info as poss.
