iphone convert

I'm a new droid x user, coming off an iphone 3gs. in my area, santa barbara, the AT&T cell phone service sucks - many dropped calls and people continually saying my voice is garbled. So, I'm on verizon now to get better cell phone performance. the Droid x is pretty cool. I'm on a steep learning curve to replicate some kind of useful business environment on the Droid x. I am general contractor and a Electronics Engineer, technical specialist and project manager.

Welcome to the forum! You made the same switch I made in August, and for a lot of the same reasons, mainly the AT&T crap service. Also, I was tired of Apple and how locked down everthing was, it was just such a pain to keep everything jailbroken and working like I wanted it to waork, not how Jobs wanted it to work. Anyways, check out the Droid X subforums, lots of good info in there!
