I just tested my iPhone OLD-version remote wired earpieces on my HTC Desire, and found out the remote works with the desire, not completely though! My initial tests showed:
- Play/pause button works well on single clicks
- If Music playing and you double click the button, music pauses and phone dials the person you've last called. Another single click ends the call and music playback resumes.
- thripple clicking of the remote button when the music is playing results in a very similar behaviour; music pauses, last called number is dialed and then cancelled promptly, and music resumes.
NOTE: I used the old iPhone earpieces which do not sport volume rockers.
