I've had mine for a couple days and I personally don't mind the extra bulge, I think it's actually nice having the hunchback protecting my camera lens from making contact with whatever I'm resting my phone on when it's not in my pocket. Battery life is definitely better, but I haven't had the pleasure of a full week with the stock battery and I had switched to the extended. But I give it a thumbs up, it just might not fit any standard cases you may have purchased. Only thing I got on my Inc is an InvisiShield for the screen.

I paid $47 after taxes with my discount as well. That website is selling for $80....its only $60 if you get it from VZ...

How much do you notice the extra budge with the battery? It looks like it sticks out pretty far...

I believe the photos make the bulge look bigger than it is. I was comparing it to my receptionist's iPhone 3G (with shell), and it wasn't that much different. When you hold it in your hand, it still feels thin around the edges. The "bulgy" (is this a word?) part fits nicely in the palm of my hand. As you can see, it still fits in my belt holster case. It does NOT fit in my Verizon window mount anymore. If I want to use it as a mobile GPS device, I'd have to put the old battery and cover back on.
