Help is this newbs A200 bricked

Hello All,
complete and utter newb here...
went to power up my a200 acer tab, and saw the
"Erasing Userdata... Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x19000008) and the iconia tab screen

so i go diving around the net and now i can get into the following two screens

bootloader v0.03.06-ics: starting fastboot usb download protocol

and the

Erasing User Data...
Erasing Cache...
then it reboots to iconia tab screen

i can consistently get into eith screen
at oone point whilst playing with the power buttons and volume buttoms i saw the laying down android with open chest and exclamation mark...
never saw it again..
how do i proceed to repair?

I did load load the android-sdk and have it installed...
fastboot devices show none connected..
