Help Issues with Froyo 2.2.1 using Odin to upgrade

I had been checking Kies for the 2.2.1 firmware update. It doesn't appear that Samsung is going to release 2.2.1 through Kies anymore (GT-I9000 france) so I decided to use odin 1.3 to update to 2.2.1. The update worked very well except that my data service is not working now. Wifi works, GPS works, it makes calls, and all of the apps work. I just can't get my data service to start working again. Has anyone else come across this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?

Go to the website of your carrier, they generally instructions on how to set up the 3g internet access.

I had this problem too. You need to reset your APN settings - under networks under settings. You will need the settings for your carrier

You guys were exactly right! Brought my phone in and they fixed it in 30 seconds! I feel like an idiot! I wasted hours on the internet last night trying to find a fix, and the 50 year old lady at the store fixed it before I could even explain the problem. Thanks again for the help!
