System Admin and Network security are still big areas, If you decide to got that way, make sure you get a VERY good understnading of how the TCP/IP stack works and how it can be subverted. Python, Perl and Assembler are all good to know if you decide i=on an IT/Network security degree/career. To help get a foot in the doot, it helps to have some Microsoft or Linux/Unix Admin certs as well.
