Just Rooted 2.1 :) now I have questions please

I erased many of the APPS the phone came with, so far I noticed that is the only special thing about root I noticed, what else can I do.

1) for overclocking, what program(free) should I use and what speeds should I set them at?

2) What else should I add to my phone now that is rooted?
