Help laggy phone

Hi people my phone has gone really laggy over the last day,is there any reason for this and whats the best way too get my phone to the Sharp quickness it once was.thanks

Installed any new apps? Have you checked what's running when it's laggy and eating CPU?

Is USB debugging turned on?

Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging

Check Mark on that.

Also, if you said you previously had no problems with the phone, try to uninstall the newest ones you have. Or maybe back-up and do a system restore

and yes, check for running applications. you might have something in there where you'll say, "whaaaat?" thats never opened at all.
