Lazik not connecting

Have Winamp 5.59 beta installed on my laptop.

This laptop connects to my home network via a Netgear WAP.

I want to sit in my chair and control the laptop's Winamp via my HTC desire.

I downloaded Lazik and had to manually setup a server; from ipconfig laptop is 192.168.1.73 - port 5976 is grayed out so I cannot change that.

The Desire is also connecting via the Netgear WAP; I know the Desire is connecting because Winamp sees the Desire under its devices tab.

However Lazik says it cannot connect to the server http://192.168.1.73:5976/

Can anyone please advise?

Resolved connection; needed to download pc Winamp plugin.

However not working as I would like.

Seems to play what ever was in the playlist i.e if I clear the current playlist and add new tracks the existing playlist tracks are still played???

The "Local Media" button on the Desire seesm very unresponsive (doubt its the wifi connection as stopping and starting music is instant).

Too many problems so uninstalled
