Mail app and school gmail account

Hi

I just got the Droid Eris yesterday and I was setting up my gmail accounts. I noticed that the only way to view my school gmail account was through the gmail app, however I can view my personal gmail account with the mail app on my home screen. I have tried to select my ASU gmail account for that app but it doesn't give me an option to show it. Is there any way to add that account to the mail viewer?

As far as I know, you have to have a seperate widget per account, so you would need to use a second screen to display it. There ma be third party apps that can display a combined inbox though

unfortunately I just tried that it still shows the regular gmail account and when I go to select account it only shows the gmail or New Account, but not the ASU gmail account that I used as the main google account.
