Many of the same text messages being received (Motorola Bionic verizon)

Hi Android Fourms users! My friend has a Droid Bionic and she got it the week before the Razar came out. The only problem is when someone sends a text to her, She receives the same text 5 times!!!!!! We were wondering if their is a setting in the control panel. If not we will try Verizon then, Motorola.
