How do I set up multiple exchange accounts on the Eris?
I doubt that you can have multiple exchange accounts, just for the mere fact that it could cause some conflicts. With regards to the Calendar and Contacts.
Not possible right now. I think you can with Android 2.0 and above. Hopefully the Eris will be getting that update soon.
Anybody have any more info on this? I have 2 exchange accounts and need access to both of them on my Eris. I rooted it and am running the newest 2.1 rom but still cant do 2 exchange accounts....
While waiting for the new 2.0 os to come out, is there an app or some sort of work around to use 2 exchange accounts on the eris? I too would like to know if this is possible.
No you can't, it's a licensing issue from Microsoft. (from what I understand) However, if you buy Touchdown, which I had to do since I have 4 EAS accounts, you can have unlimited. Cost is around $20 but their support is well worth it and all future upgrades are free.
I suspect you could just set up one in Mail and one in a third-party app like Touchdown.

Annoying part is that it's just a 5-day trial, then $20 to buy.
FYI, another option is to setup the addittional exchange accounts as MAPI... After fumbling with it for a while that's what I ended up doing, so far so good...
How did you set up a MAPI account? My only choices are POP, APOP, and IMAP.
Sorry, I meant IMAP not mapi...
Not a bad idea...I'm going to have to try this as my fiance may have this issue soon, when I create an account for her on my exchange box... she currently sync's with her corporate server, but it would be nice to at least give her mail access on her phone without having to use webmail.
I have multiple Exchange account on my Samsung Infuse(hotmail and gmail). I used m.hotmail.com and m.google.com for exchange server. Problem is I am trying to seperate account as if i click on email icon its asking me for combine inbox or to select individual mail account. I want to setup different icons for both of them.
