Root Music App FC's Frequently?

So my Droid is rooted with BB 1.1 installed, I've got the Chevy 1 ghz kernel installed as well. Some time ago I had just begun trying out a different ROM just to check out the difference, so I tried out Ultimate 3.7, didn't like it so I went back to 1.1. Now all of a sudden the 2.1 music app has become less stable and is FC'ing a good amount of times, and when it doesn't FC the scrolling through the albums/songs/artists becomes unbearably slow. This didn't happen before I tried out the new ROM. Anyone have an idea why this is? When i tried out the Ultimate rom I did the Nandroid method and that method as well to go back to BB

did you do a data wipe before restoring? dont know if that would make a difference but ive gone from 3.7 to BB 1.0 a couple of times without the music app FC issue.

Yeah I data wiped every time. I dunno I think I'm just being paranoid and its just a rare coincidence really, it hasn't been doing it much lately. Thanks anyways
