Accessories My headphone adapter suddenly wont work...

Hi everyone

I wanted to be able to listen to music/watch video on my G1 so I shelled out on the HTC adapter that lets you charge at the same time

Anyway, so I plugged it in and hey presto it worked fine when I tested it. I then just put it away until needed.

Im facing a long train journey so fancied using it - but i plugged it in to test it the other day, and no longer works! Sound will only come out of the speaker on the phone whether or not the adapter is plugged in

My phone "updated" to 1.5 the other day - could this be the root of the problem?

Any ideas for fixes? I doubt its the hardware not working as it couldnt possibly have been damaged!

I get the same thing. I think it's a cupcake problem. I tried that adapter on two phones upgraded to JFv1.50_ADP1.5 and audio from Music plays on the phone's speakers. I tried the adapter and headphone on an unmodified phone and Music plays from the headphone.
