So Zen keeps doing weird things on me like not dialing properly and dropping calls where it's just completely dead air on my end. I want to flash a new rom but when I hold the home button it's different. How can I flash a new rom after Zen?

It's a stupid noob question, but need help!

Install ROM manager and it will be easy...install the ROM you want to your SD card and you can use ROM manager to flash it...

I want to try Fresh 2.4 and have it on my SD card already. I thought it said to make sure you wipe everything prior to it though?

Load the rom on to the sd card, turn phone off, hold volume down, and hold power until the phone boots into a screen with a few choices. choose recovery, make a nandroid, wipe dalvik and data, and flash the new rom. (That's what I do anyway...):)

Downloaded Rom manager and it brought me to recovery mode. Thanks guys!

I'm used to just holding down the home button on reboot so it threw me off. It doesn't take much lol. :)

For me, it stopped doing what it was supposed to when I did the home and power thing, so I know that volume down and power always works...
