Need help with connecting a USB mouse

Hi,

I am trying to connect a USB mouse with my LG V20.

I have to use office system thru VMware (only occasionally) and if i have a mouse that would really help.

I tried 2 different OTG USB to USB C adaptors, but the mouse does not seem to work or load. These OTG adapters load external SD card or flash drive without problems.

I have tried a wired mouse as well as Microsoft wireless mouse.

Is there any setting or an app that is needed?

I can buy a Bluetooth mouse if you think that will work with this phone. but if i dont have to buy an extra mouse that would be great.

No experience with LG, but my bluetooth mouse works for all my Samsung devices since 2012 (Note 2). Even lower end ones (Tab 4 7.0 is a budget device), so I'd expect a flagship device like the V20 to support it.

and just to add to @chanchan05 I've had good luck using a Bluetooth keyboard. When it comes to a lot of writing, I still find typing on a virtual keyboard to be a pain.
