Help need some help

hi i have this htc desire and i have read a lot about battary life i have tow problems the first one is that my desire give me 5 hours awake time of internet browsing i wont to know if it is ok and the second one is that i cannt download any thing from the android market coz the program close when it is in loading i dont know why. and there is this thing too i see that there is un update in the the phone updater to android 2.2 but i want to know if i did this update is the arabic keyboard will gon or the new android 2.2 will have arabic support so if any on can help i really need it
