my name is Ray, and I am new to Android.
I don't even have one yet. I am doing my research as to what to get.
Obviously, I can use all the help I can get; starting with the acronyms, and then going to the colloquial names (widgets), Roots, roms and what-have-you.
I'll be alright. I'm sure you guys reading this will be thinking "that's me a year ago", or something similar.
I work in a PC related field, and am very familiar with Google (Chrome, Voice, iGoogle, etc.), so it shouldn't take me long to get in the know. Besides I have a buddy at my work that is the true Android guy. At first I had told him I wanted a BB, and he sat me down and explained the lay of the land. Since then I'm a convert.
So that's my story.
