News App No Longer Updating

I noticed that the News app stopped updating on my Desire Z. The latest news item was on November 20. All of the feeds stopped on that day.

Mine (HTC Desire HD) stopped also around that time.

Can anyone help? any ideas?

Mine stopped updating a few days ago, after some searching around what worked for me was downloading the Google Reader app, install and enable the sync option to your google email address, after that happens the app should trigger a permission request for the app, this happened twice, and eventually the news app updates by itself or manually. You can go into the settings of the app also to change the frequency of the update to keep current. It's news after all.
