Help NFC and vibration stopped working after the lastest 5.0 update

Hi everyone!

I have been looking in the forums for a similiar thread, but found none.

After the lastest Android 5.0 update (a few weeks ago), my Samsung S5 stopped vibrating and the NFC stopped working. The NFC is on, but I can't see the symbol (N) on the notification bar as it used to be. I tried to connect it to other devices and nothing happens. The vibration is also on, but it doesn't work with any notifications/calls, or even when turning off/on or doing system reboots.

I did a "Whipe cache partition", and still no changes.

Is there anything else I can do to find the root of the problem and hopefully solve it?

My suggestion is that you just kneel down and accept your karma.

Do a Full Factory Data Reboot and let it come up and reinitialize again.

I suspect that will be the fastest, and surest way to fix it.

My S5 has so far, not suffered from any ill effects of the latest Verizon issued 5.x

Did this ever get fixed for you? My Moto Z2 Force just updated to Android 8.0 and both the NFC and vibration are no longer working...
