No Cell Bars in Display on Virgin Mobile Supreme/ZTE Vital

This would be funny if it weren't so frustrating...On my Virgin Mobile Supreme/ZTE Vital, at the top my phone shows now bars...but...my a widget I have shows I have 4 bars. I have noticed no problems making calls and my data speeds, at 4G are -95 dBm...when I select just 3G, my data speed is -76 dBm...anyone have any clues?

Defective display or defect on the motherboard.

Not to state the obvious, but have you tried rebooting the phone?

Yup rebooted a couple of time...just started this. It will display every so often then go dark...just the cell strength..I guess I will just ignore it. There is no way I even want to deal with VM cust. Serv/tech support.

i would say I agree but..everything else in the display bar is working fine and as I said it will just show sometimes and then stop. This is a recent thing. I've had this phone a couple of months now without any issues..
