Online order, deposit question.

Has anyone ever placed an online order for a new account and was required to pay a deposit? If so, when did they ask for the deposit? When the order was placed?

Placed an order on ther 21st for the Incredible and it still says "Waiting for approval or phone availability".

That's normal. Everyone's order says that until they actually prepare to ship the phone.
