PRL 3030 Is Out

This is what I got on 3G after updating the PRL. Ignore the Wifi icon because I connected to Wifi to download a Screenshot app. Highest download speed was 237.

I WOULD NOT UPDATE call me paranoid but they release an update on eve of releasing a phone with mobile hotspot and all of the sudden 4g speeds and 3g speeds slow down??? i think not i aint stupid but i am not going to update!

what ya should do is push 3029 back on to the phone and see if speeds are better on 3029 if so that should confirm theory.

this is my speed test on 3029 lets see if ya can measure up to that on prl 3030

My 3g is about the same on both plrs at like 1 or 2 bars...

i updated my PRL and tethered successfully.

That's odd.
Let's try the simple fixes first:

• Pull down your status bar and choose airplane mode for 30 seconds or so then deselect it and see if data is restored.
• Reboot if you haven't already

Dont know if the programs are the same for your phone but this is how we do it with the Esteem

Yeah it is the same program/post from over in there. It is also a sticky up there ^^^^ also

I'd forgotten about *228. I called 611 before posting, spent 8 minutes trying to explain to some Phillipeenie-weenie from CS that I wanted to.update my roaming list. Hung up in disgust.

Anyway, did 3 consecutive speed tests (3g) in East L.A. @ 710 fwy/3rd St. DL speed maxed out at 1 MB and change, low of 400 kbps. Up speed consistent at 178-181 kbps.
