problem with running tasks

Hi
i've android 4.0.4 and sony arc/s
I've installed some applications , like nimbuzz , date, email , go luncher ,go sms and some other apps .
The problem is this that they're always running and it takes a lot of ram. My phone has just 36mb free ram and it becomes very slow .
Some of them should be running all the time , like go luncher , but how can I close the other ones that I don't need .
even if I closed them , they'll run again automatically

Is there anyway to control the open tasks ?

Android can manage its memory much better than you or I can. Task Killers actually have the opposite affect the more an application starts Android thinks it's important and keeps memory available for it. The best way if its too slow is to remove some of the apps. In android "Free Memory" is wasted memory.
