Psx4droid ff 8 problems

I've been playing ff7 on psx4droid so I decided to go pick up ff8 since its the only ff besides 3 I haven't beaten yet and it was emulating fine til l I went to the world map and it blacks out I still can move around just can't see anything till a battle then I can se e again anyone know how to fix this or had this problem

What version are you using? The first version had that problem, I think the developer fixed it in the latest update. Check the market it should be there.

Sometimes the case may be that you have a bad rom.

The only case where something like that has happened to me is just during the PS intro of Twisted Metal. Everything else is competely fine besides that intro (with the PS symbol) that turns up black and pretty much invisible. But that's the only time it happens, and the only game that it happens with. Wish I could truely help but that's all I've got.
