Help Push Email Stopped Working for K-9 Mail

I have been using K-9 email for my IMAP email. IMAP IDLE (push) had been working great; both my gmail and .edu email would be instantly pushed to my phone.

Just a few days ago I noticed that I no longer receive any new email unless I force it to Pull at specific intervals. Anyone else having this problem?

I was running version 2706 and tried updating to 2708 but this did not solve the problem. I have not tried removing/re-adding my email accounts but I will try this if no one else is having this issue.

UPDATE: After deleting the program completely and re-installing, push email is working again.
