[Q] CMW can't open the .zip file ... emmc ?

Hey guys,

I just wanted to upgrade my Resurrection 9.4 to 9.6 and for some reason CWM can't open the file during the installation, it finds the upgrade but stops the installation process and defo there is nothing wrong with the file because no one has this problem.

It says can't open /emmc/...

any idea ?

I'm not familiar with resurrection but cyanogenmod mounts the external sd as emmc so it might be the same. So if the file is on your external sd put it onto the internal. If its already on the internal remove your external. If neither of those work I'm sorry but I'm out of ideas.

One more thing. Try fixing permissions in cwm. Long shot but it won't hurt.

Possibly a corrupt download file, try a fresh download and make sure your wifi to your phone doesn't go into sleep mode (if you're downloading the rom to your phone that is)
