Root [Q] One folder for ringtones/notifications?

Maybe...
What kinda phone you be havin' huh rev?
An hTc holy one?

Usually if you create a new folder, with a file explorer like es, you create media then 4 folders inside called photos, notifications, ringtones, and alarms. You could also make the 5th called music if you want. Inside photos you could create a folder name that will show up in the stock galley as an album.

Drop all the files you want in where, now they will show up in the stock ringtone/notification picker. Or your device may give you the option of using es/ whatever file manager you have.
As long as you don't use the same tone as a ringtone and the alarm you shouldn't have to duplicate/ clone the noise coming out of your device...

If that doesn't work punch your phone until the megabytes squirt out...
:rolleyes::eek:
