Question about What the Doodle...

Probably a stupid question... but how do i submit my guesses in this game???

With virtual keyboard enabled i'll open the keyboard and type my guess, then close the keyboard and nothing happens. If i have it disabled a small text box will appear which will open the keyboard when i touch it. After typing my guess the word will appear in the text box but now i dont know how to send it.

Is there just no record or notification of your own guesses, but u can see other peoples? i dont get it. If i drag the bottom bar up which shows the list of players and a history of guesses and phrases, my guesses don't appear in that history either.

I really like this game, but without being able to guess it's only half the experience.
