Help radio interference with a 2010 scion tc

My girlfriend has a fascinate and she is having calling problems in her car. She has a 2010 scion tc with a factory head unit. When she makes or gets a call her voice sounds like she is under water, if she turns the radio off it goes away. Its only her phone, in her car, if she is in my car no problem or if Im in her car with my incredible I have no problem. Has anyone came across this? She isn't using bluetooth either. She has a non root fascinate also and is up to date on updates.

Well I took it by Verizon and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. They wouldn't even walk out to her car to confirm it. The tech guy talked to his manager and then said sorry for the inconvenience but just turn the radio off when your on the phone.

That's an issue with the car, and not the phone really. I'd take the car to a dealer.

I have an appointment this saturday to have them look over the car. I just find it weird that my incredible, a Droid 2 and a droid x all work perfectly fine in the car.
