Rage of Bahamut - General Discussion

I've run into a problem.

When I was at level 73 I was attacked by a level 83 or 84 player. Not against the rules but I consider it a (feminine hygiene product) move. I personally won't attack more than 5 levels below me.

Anyway, I said something to the guy using the support system bc it's the only method of communications available in game.

He decided to start attacking me 3 times a day.

He is now level 86 and I am level 78. I successfully defend against his attacks 1 out of 10 times maybe. If I attack him 3 times a day, I might win a fight once every other day because, for some reason, my best skills aren't firing.

I emailed Mobage and they referred me to the developers. The developers never responded and it's been two weeks.

Anyone know if/where/how I can report abuse?

Thanks. :(

I'm trying to learn the trading system as I'd like to be able to get more powerful cards and hp without spending tons of money on the game. Is there someone here who wouldn't mind showing me the ropes? :)

Trading in this game can be a bit complicated. There are so many factors but the most important one is WHY you are playing.

I play for fun and I will share my trading "strategy"

My basic rule is to determine what I ULTIMATELY get from the trade. If I come out ahead in the end, even bad deals can be good.

Card for card trades.

There are basic types of card/card trades.

First is the 1 for 1. This is the easy kind of trade. You can actually compare cards for the most part (ATK/DEF/Rarity/Cost etc). The one thing you can't compare is how hard the cards are to get. Two cards may have the same rarity but one may be an award for an event and the other is a quest reward.

1 for many trades are where one side gives up several cards to get a single card (or many just not AS many cards) from the other. These are slightly tougher to judge because the rarities and other stats can vary by card.

Card for Item trades

I don't personally do these often but you see them faily frequently. You can trade HPs, CWs or, rarely, MCs for cards. People who do this list their prices on their profiles or their support comments so just check them out and see if anyone has anything good.

My rule is basically to figure out if or how much a trade helps me. I've been known to take a "bad" trade because it got me the last card I needed to evolve something really good. Right now, I have a couple skull riders I will eventually get around to making use of but a lot of people seem to want them. The problem is that the offers for them are cards that I have/have had or no longer need. Good cards just nothing I need at the moment so I refuse the trade and hold on to my riders.

Another tip is to focus your trades. Check out the Wiki and figure out which cards you want. Then figure out how to get them.

Some can be had by getting people to join and use your referral code. Others by questing. Others by doing well in holy wars etc.

Hi guys :)
Since this is an discussion thread, i was hoping people can give me some ideas for other similar games that you suggest I play.
Comparisons would be great so that I know what I am getting myself into.

(like, RoB is cool graphics but Dark Summoner is better, one is better speed than the other etc)

I recently looked in to games like Zombie Jombie, DArk Summoner, Castle something and Celberious Age (SP?).
Not sure where to start from, and I know it takes time so I just want some pointers .

I just started playingthis game yesterday. I am having trouble locating where my personal referral code is. Can someone assist me with this please?

Hey Marc,
Just hit Refer a Friend on the main page. When you first open the game, click Click Here to Start and you'll see the recruit icon.

Side question! Did anyone compete in the holy wars? I won some cards that don't really do anything, just curious what they're used for. One is worth 30k so I assume I sell IG.. the other, idk?

Hey guys. As a veteran player, Im gonna give u a few tips as you start playing this game. Cards are broken down into Normal, High Normal, Rares, High Rares, S Rares, SS Rares, Legendarys. 70% of players are currently in the High Rare stage because S Rares and Up are hard to come by. In the beginning, the Rare or higher cards are what you should be aiming for to improve your deck. Normals and High Normals are mainly used to Feed/Enhance your Rare or higher cards.

When you first start you can pick from 1 of 3 Realms(Man,God,Demon). During the High Rare stage of play, Man has the strongest attack with their Claymore Maids but are weak when you first start out. Gods have the strongest defense with their Asparas. Demons come in a close 2nd for attack with moderate defense but are the strongest when first starting.

All Rare and Up cards and some High Normal cards have skill boosts. The High normal skilled cards are mainly used to Skill level up your Rare and Up cards. However, you should only feed them skilled cards when the card is in its fully evolved Final Form. Non-skilled cards are used to level up your cards regularly. As you keep playing, you will realize you can evolve your cards different ways depending on how you Enchance them first. You can find out the different ways by googling Rage of Bahamut Visual Evolution chart.

Back to skill boosts, the best ones are the ones that boost your own Realm. Boosts become less when they start boosting for more than one realm or attribute. A Big Boost to Man ATK is 13% and higher than a Big Boost to ATK/DEF(ALL) which is around 8%. Once your cards are fully evolved, you can start leveling their skills up to a Skill level of 10. Each level gives an extra 1% to your boost. Having cards in your Realm also gives a 5% boost to that card when you attack or defend.

About currency, this game runs on Holy Powder(HP), Cure Water, and Rupies. Values fluctuate from time to time but Holy Powders are the most important. 1 Holy Powder is worth 2-3 Cure Waters or 75-120K Rupies depending on how things fluctuate. Rare cards are usually worth 1-2 HP. High Rares are worth anywhere from 4 to 60 HP. Browse through the Bazaar to get a feel of how much cards are worth. HPs are important because they allow you to refresh your Attack and Defense during Holy Wars or events.

Holy Wars are events where you and your Order team up and fight other Orders. Wars last 1 hr each and the entire Holy War lasts for 3-4 straight days usually on weekends. This is the bread and butter of the game in my opinion because u get to team up and coordinate with your Order for HUGE REWARDS and Prizes.

I hope all this helps! I know I struggled with how to understand this game when I first started playing. The info here should prevent you from making some big mistakes like I did back then lol. Like underselling cards, evolving cards too soon, etc.
