Root Recovery problem

Okay so I did the root.
In this guide: [TUTORIAL] How To Root The HTC EVO ~ Part-1 \0/ - xda-developers
I try to do the Recovery Instructions, i get as far as Reboot Recovery and then it boots and I get an image with a phone, and a triangle with an exclamation mark.

So I keep going on with the guide and I do the evo-recovery script for mac and it says

Ki-Bishop:tools kibishop2$ ./recovery-mac.sh
-bash: ./recovery-mac.sh: No such file or directory
Ki-Bishop:tools kibishop2$ /Users/kibishop2/Desktop/evo-recovery/recovery-mac.sh
EVO Recovery Mode

Pushing required files to device...

Password:
sudo: ./adb-mac: command not found
sudo: ./adb-mac: command not found

Ki-Bishop:tools kibishop2$ sudo: ./adb-mac: command not found

Why is it not working?

Okay so i typed in ki-bishop:~ kibishop2$ cd /Users/kibishop2/Desktop/tools
ki-bishop:tools kibishop2$ ./adb shell
# cat /sdcard/flash_image > /data/flash_image
# chmod 755 /data/flash_image
# /data/flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
# reboot recovery
which I got from the video tutorial and it seemed to work... not sure what was different.
