Ringtones, Notifications, and Applications, OH MY!

Alright, I have no idea if this is possible or not, but here is my convoluted question:

I have multiple songs/ringtones/notifications that I would like to use.

I want a single person within my contacts to have two different ringtones; one for when they call and one for when they send a message.

I can set the individual's ringtone within my people settings
I can set the default notification tone within my SMS program (still debating between ChompSMS and HandCent, suggestions?)

Is it possible (as anyone knows) to set a notification for an individual within a SMS app while having it leave the default application notification alone as well as the custom ringtone within the phonebook settings I have set for individual people?

Handcent allows you to have an individual notification tone and notification icon per texter.

So, the non-convoluted answer to your question is "yes, with Handcent." Chomp might do it too, I haven't used it, so I don't know.

EDIT:

Yup, this feature is in HandCent under the contact's individual message, NOTE: the contact must be a 'Phone Contact' and not a 'Google Contact'
