I agree, 1.6.3.4 is the fastest one, and its the first time im actually happy with the phone's performance, its really snappy, and you can easily notice the difference between 1.6.3.4 and 1.6.3.3.
But im still waiting for a decent phone (an improved Desire or something like that) to upgrade to

Thanks for the advice. I upgraded yesterday and it went fairly smooth. I also installed Dark Sense 2.1, which I don't like as much as 2.0, but only because of the different launcher. It can be kind of sluggish, but I've not turned on compcache or overclocking yet.

Once big plus I noticed this morning is that GPS got signal almost instantly. I'll have to wait and see if it stays that way, but if it does, that's huge for me.

I also noticed that my GPS seemed to connect faster. Thought it was just a lucky moment...but maybe not.

Latest ADW has shitload of settings howto improve the performance. Check them. I use this launcher as default, because the advanced launcher has not been updated since 25.09.2009. No reason to use outdated software.
