Root Rooted, now battery lasts half as long

Hey guys,

I gave up on waiting for my telco provider to upgrade me to froyo OTA, I decided to root my phone and I've put T-Mod 2.2a rom on it.

I also installed the 'undervolt' patch.

My phone's battery was lasting me about 2 days before, but now it lasts roughly half as long.

Any ideas?

its not rooting, theres something else causing that. possible the rom or the patch causing it.
are you using setcpu?
