Samsung Captivate on T-Mobile - uh, oh - Help!

I have an unlocked Samsung Captivate phone and I am currently using it with T-Mobile. Everything works perfectly, except the GPS has no signal at all. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks

There was an update sent out by AT&T that had fixed this issue. But I don't see how you can get it if you're on T-Mobile.

I've been stumped for the better part of an hour where to direct you.

I wonder, though - you might try contacting Samsung?

It was their problem originally, as I understood it, and common to the entire Galaxy S class of phones, to one degree or another.

(Samsung users are free to correct me, but that's what their press releases were saying a few months back.)

Maybe try checking in those forums.

If there was an ota update for the gps they would know where to get it/how to install it.
