Samsung Galaxy tab Gmail App - Saving pics!

I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and use the Gmail app. In one particular email, I received a few pics and there was basically a list of the photos and I could select 'view' or 'save' beside each photo. I clicked on the 'save' button, but I can't seem to figure out where these photos saved to. They're nowhere that I can see in my gallery, nor can I find a place through gmail that they've gone to.

Open the Gallery app.
Select the folder that contains the photos you're looking for.
Click on the image to enlarge.
Click on the 3 lines in the upper right hand corner.
Click Details.
You will see info about the photo, as well as where it's located.

Thanks for that, but the photos don't show up anywhere in the gallery, under any of the albums. They seem to have vanished into thin air :-/
