Samsung SII SGHi777 Unlocked upgradeable?

Hi,

I'm in the process of buying a Samsung SII SGHi777 Unlocked to use it in another country. The OS of it is 2.3 Gingerbread, can that be upgrade to 4.2.1 Jelly Bean? If so, how can be done?

You can take it up to Kit Kat if you want. There is a stable version of CyanogenMod for this phone. It can attest to the fact that it works very well. There is a bit of lag here and there, but it's an older phone so you have to expect that.

Take a look at this video and see if it's something you'd like to try.
