When I open the adb app, it just flashes on the screen and closes. Ideas?

Yeah, that's what I tried. I clicked on the adb program in the tools folder...

thats not how you run it
open up cmd
type "cd location"
where location is the location of your tools folder, so just copy the address bar of it and paste it there
then do the commands

Hahaha stupid me. I don't know WTF I'm doing anymore. I've tried at least 4 ways to root it. So I'm not sure which method your adb directions were for.

Here's the results of one method. I don't get why it won't work!

I am trying this method right now. And it says permission is denied for transferring the apps/files. (su and superuser)

EDIT: I'm an idiot. I feel like using so many expletives right now....but I won't.
I searched in the thread. Access is denied when you have it set in USB mass storage mode. DUH.

It's working right now....we'll see where it ends up.
