Shopping calculator

I've been browsing around trying to find a shopping app that will allow me to keep track of the amount im spending by scanning items as i throw them in the cart....i've searched through numerous apps that say they have this feature but when i install it and try it out i can't see that option. many grocery list options which are great but i want to be able to make sure im not spending wildly before i get to the checkout....any suggestions?
