SIM and MicroSIM?

I just bought an LG G2x running Android 2.3. It has SIM and MicroSIM slots. I have a text/data plan on T Mobile and a talking plan on ATT. Currently my ATT SIM is in another phone and my T Mobile SIM is in the LG. Is there a way to cut down the ATT SIM and fit it in the Micro slot and run both cards on my LG?

Secondary question:
If I use a call forwarding app on my T Mobile to forward calls to another number, will T Mobile charge me for minutes?

TMO told me I could get a new SIM. Daughter in UK got a new phone and uses Micro.
TMO told me they could change her US one to Micro.

Don't know forwarding.

Is she using both at the same time? Two cell phone plans on one phone?
