Most do. Depending on the app, there may be a version that is specifically made for tablets. If not, the tablet may have an option that allows you to stretch the border of the app to fill up the entire screen or zoom the app, so it looks like your phone app on an oversized phone. The look of the app depends on the app itself. Also, Android tablets seem to be designed to be used in landscape orientation. Some apps are only available in portrait orientation. It's a problem for me because I use a keyboard dock with my tablet and it is always in landscape orientation when docked.

Some apps look kinda ugly when they go full screen and they don't support the resolution. They look pixelated. But that's about it. A lot of apps are optimized now anyway.
