So I was one of those that just jumped ship, maybe not many, but I did. I loved my Nexus, so I am not hating. The problem I had was I used my phone alot and carried 2 spare batteries (total of 3) and generally sucked through both of them. I live in a 4g area and found myself battery managing all day. It was sickining. I got the Maxx yesterday and tested it out on a full charge today, I just hit the 10 hour mark with no charge and still at 41% and I used it heavy today. No battery management, nothing. I do have a custom rom on it, but thats it.
Strangly enough, ive had zero call drops, zero calls that the other person couldnt hear me and no connection issues. Yes its day one, but when I say I use it a lot, thats an understatement. I went through three Nexus before I gave up and just kept it with the issues I had. You may not have these issues, and I am so happy for you.
Basically, I just want to give my unbiased opinion and then ill move my butt over to the Razr Thread. The nexus has a beautiful screen, fast response, and all around form factor. The problem with me was, I am a heavy user and I needed a phone that could keep up with me without me having to worry about whats running and can I use 4g or not.
Maybe this helps someone, maybe not, Just thought I would share my expeirence, Good luck to all you Nexus Users!
