sync/charging desktop clock

Hello all,

Since upgrading to the 2.1 that was put out for the Sprint HTC Hero, I noticed that there is now a desktop clock program which is great! However, it doesn't automatically "turn on" when I plug my phone into charge/sync. Is there any way that this can be made to come on, or is there a program out there that works like that. I know that the N1 has something like that when you plug the phone into charge, so I am hoping this is also available for the Hero.

You might want to look into the app called Locale with the Dock Plug-In or Shortcut Plug-in. I haven't used it myself, but base on what the app says, it seems like this is what you need.
