Third party android apps

I don't know about all the "boosters," but I use this one to clean up junk on my phone and at least it does get rid of a lot of crap and always asks first so you don't delete something you'll need later!!!

There's just no way a legitimate (if there is such a thing) cleaning app should ever need to do that stuff.

Actually, if you think about it, to do its claimed job properly the app does need such extensive permissions. It can't delete junk files, browser search history, call logs etc without access to them. The list may be long, but it does tally with the advertised features.

Cleaner apps are rarely needed. Most of my devices go their lifetime without ever using a cleaner with no loss of performance. But very bad things happen if a cleaner 'cleans' the wrong 'junk' files. There is some risk.

As for boosters, RAM optimizers, etc here's a quick explanation why even though they sound good they should be avoided:

I actually have the paid version of this App and was going to uninstall it until I read your post. Are you saying that even though it is an extensive list it's really not suspicious or shady??
