Ok, I read another post about this:
http://androidforums.com/htc-desire/99165-touch-screen-tingles.html

I've noticed that I'm getting little tingling shocks to my right index finger whenever I touch the Evo's screen.

What's even stranger is that I don't feel the sensation on any other fingers on either hand.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with their evo screen and finger feeling little shocks?

I'm not imagining this, and I'm wondering why the heck it's just my index finger?!? Maybe it's just more sensitive, but who knows.

After some quick googling, looks like some iphone user has the same experience:

I would assume that the capacitive touchscreen technology is the culprit. I can live with the slight tingling, I just don't know why it's only on 1 finger!

Maybe it is just your index finger because that is the finger you scroll with.
Have you tried touching the screen to any of your other parts?;)

Yes, I have had this. I got rid of my phone and purchased a different touch screen. I then went back to my blackberry. The new touch screens involve sensing your electrical wiring from your cells in your finger I believe. I am very sensitive to it. Just don't too much until they develop better technology. I went into anxiety and phobia which I am trying to learn to break. It sucks but I am guessing they will develop better tech since these is 1st generation touch screens.
