Tips to improve battery life - Honor 8

Love the phone so far but the battery life is my one complaint. Any ideas on how to improve it?

I did find one stock feature that might help. Settings > Advanced Settings > Battery Manager > Optimize.

1. Make the screen as dim as possible.

2. Switch to battery saving mode if you can live without the notifications.

With the above method your phone should last an entire day with reasonable data or Wi-Fi usage.

If you aren't satisfied, buy a portable battery charger. A 5,000mAh battery charger is equal to a fully charged 3,000mAh phone battery.

I switched the screen resolution from the default higher setting down to a lower one. This saves a ton of battery. My old man eyes can't tell the difference anyway. (The setting is under Battery.)
